Motorola and Cisco Development
Motorola announced that it will deliver a seamless enterprise mobile solution in a joint effort with Cisco Systems. The solution will include Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) Internet Protocal (IP) telephony and cell phone technologies. The goal is to provide a single mobile communication device to bridge the physical and virtual-office environments.
The main promises of the new technology are:
- employee increased productivity
- boosted company agility
- greater cost control
- tighter security control
According to the curren plan, the solution will be available early in 2006.
