Nokia 9300 launched by Cingular

Cingular has announced the Nokia 9300, a high-end Communicator device under the Series 80 family. The Nokia 9300 from Cingular will ship with BlackBerry Connect, making it the first non-RIM handset with the BlackBerry Connect software sold in the US.

“The Cingular-enabled Nokia 9300 business device with BlackBerry Connect is designed for the mobile professional seeking a high-quality combination of PDA, phone and mobile email in a sleek, compact device.”

Features of the Nokia 9300 include:

  • EDGE high-speed data
  • Tri-band (850/1800/1900)
  • QWERTY keybaord
  • 80MB memory
  • 640×200 screen, 65K colors
  • Bluetooth

Cingular will start shipping the Nokia 9300 through business (B2B) channels in November 2005. The 9300 will be available for just $299.99 with a 2-year conract and after a $50 rebate.
