Sony Ericsson today announced the W900i, just a few months after the release of the first walkman phone. The W900i is the first 3G Walkman branded phone and the first phone to support over-the-air music downloads.

Ericsson W900i features:

• 2 megapixel camera with autofocus and 30fps video capture
• GSM 900/1800/1900 plus UMTS 2100
• 470MB of built-in storage plus a Memory Stick Duo card slot
• QVGA 262K color screen
• Stereo Portable Handsfree with remote control (3.5mm jack)
• Music player can handle MP3, AAC or AAC+
• Bluetooth

The W900i is expected to begin shipping at the end of the fourth quarter.
