RAZR and tattoos from Motorola
Motorola will start selling a new addition to its personalized appearance family, featuring the pink RAZR, a new RAZR phone with laser-attached tattoos.
Jeremy Dale, Motorola vice president and head of channel marketing, said the idea for the tattoos came “about last Christmastime when we saw the phenomenal success of the pink RAZR. It had really connected with consumers. People today are looking to make personal statements, with the clothes that they wear, the bars that they go to. And their phones have become a fashion item.”
The artwork was designed by Ami James, best known from the TV show Miami Ink. Several tattoo designs are expected, but the design shown at right is the only one that has been showcased.
