Cingular Music services

Cingular announced today that it will join all other wireless providers by launching a mobile music service. Cingular partnered with Yahoo, Napster, Emusic, and XM to make the musical service available for its mobile devices.

For $12 a month, users are entitled to a wide selection of music from Yahoo, Napster, and Emusic. Users interested in the mobile version of the XM radio can use the service for $9.00 a month. If you are one of the users that needs to have all the music options available, you can pay $15 per month and you will be able to listen to Yahoo, Napster, Emusic, and XM.

The following is a list of initially supported phones for the Cingular Music Service:

  • Samsung SYNC
  • CU500 from LG
  • W810i
  • W300i
  • 3125 from Sony Ericsson
