According to Slashphone, Toshiba is presenting their 3″ TFT wide display screen during the ITU communication trade show. The new wide screen display has been already integrated into some mobile phones.

The WVGA display has a higher contrast image archived by using low temperature poly-silicon. Toshiba’s product has a resolution of 800 x 480, pixels beats the resolution of the similar product announced by Sony Ericsson earlier this year.
