LG has launched the U8210
LG Electronics has launched their first 3G/UMTS device, the U8210, using Bitfone’s mProve technology for FOTA. FOTA, firmware over-the-air upgrade technology allows wireless network operators to diagnose, service and enhance mobile devices remotely.
The technology is used by the following device and chipset manufacturers:
- Motorola
- LGE
- Sony Ericsson
- QUALCOMM
- TCL
- UTStarcom
