Nokia framework helps deliver content to mobile phones
Nokia launched WidSets, a framework for automatically feeding content to mobile phones. The new technology is expected to bring Web 2.0 to mobile devices.
WidSets allows the user to select Internet services and make them available on a mobile device. The content can be utilized from RSS (really simple syndicators) feeds, blogs, or photo upload sites
“You have exactly the information you are interested in, but in a cost-optimized way on your handset,” said Tom Henricksson, director of Nokia’s Emerging Business Unit.
