Cingular announced the Samsung BlackJack. The new thin QWERTY smartphone will join the market with the T-Mobile Dash and the Motorola Q all three smartphones competing with each other.

Features of the Samsung BlackJack include:

• Memory ROM 128MB, RAM 64MB (PDA) and ROM 64, RAM 64 (Phone)
• Windows Mobile 5.0

• Stereo Bluetooth
• Micro SD card slot
• Speaker phone
• Enhanced document viewer

The BlackJack will be sold by Cingular. The smrthphone sales will begin later this week. The unit will be sold for as little as $199 after rebate with a 2-year contract including unlimited data.
