Lowered music download prices at Sprint

Posted on March 27th, 2007

Sprint Nextel is following Apple’s foot steps by lowering the price of music downloads on its wireless Sprint Music Store to 99 cents.

Up to this point Sprint’s customers downloaded over 15 million songs paying $2.50 per song. Sprint’s music catalog consists of 1.4 million songs and all songs are sold at the same price. Every purchase of the mobile download includes another copy of the song to download to a Windows PC.

The new price should be in effect sometime during the first week of April.
