RadioShack said today that it will start using Cingular Wireless as a new mobile phone provider instead of Verizon Wireless. The distribution aggreement between Cingular and RadioShack, will increase Cingular’s distribution outlets by 5000 RadioShack stores nationwide.
Cingular reported narrower second quarter earnings associated with a one time charge, the merger with AT&T Wireless.
