Mob.Li

Thanks to MOB.Li, a UK company and provider of mobile marketing services, consumers can now interact in real time with newspaper and magazine advertisers via a new text service.

When a consumer reads an ad in a paper and wants more information, they just send a text message to the MOB.Li mobile service number (given on the ad) with their email address included, and the requested information is automatically emailed back to them.

The consumer can retrieve the information sent by the advertiser using PC or moblie phone with internet enabled access.

This service connects consumers with advertisers to get in on last minute deals and special offers. The customer requests the information, thus doing away with unwanted advertisements.

The cost to the consumer is equivalent to a basic text message; much cheaper than a stamp or phone call.
